Grisélidis Réal was a prostitute (though she preferred the term ‘courtesan’) who saw what she did as compassionate social work and fought unceasingly for sexual freedom and the rights of sex-workers.

A former long-term columnist for Vice Magazine, he has written for other publications such as This and Punk Planet.
