If Canada has someone on par with the very best detective mystery writers out of the United Kingdom, then Louise Penny is our national treasure.
Her new book is the fifth Chief Inspector Gamache title and is her best yet. Like her main character the book is elegant, urbane and is the very best in traditional mystery writing today.
A wonderful book to curl up with over the holidays.
